I really really really enjoy scented candles. A few weeks ago I bought a pomegranate apple scented soy-lotion candle from CVS and when the candle wax is melted you can pour it over your hands and use it as a lotion! It smells a bit smokey though. Last Christmas my mum bought me a vanilla lime candle, which was pretty nice, and a Christmas cookie candle, which was heavenly delightful. This Christmas, a lady from my job gave me a candle shaped like a snowman. It's absolutely adorable. Right now, I've got a Mango, Grapefruit & Passion Punch candle lit up. Fruity! The quirkiest named candle I own is Rosy Rhubarb Pie. Well, I could go on and on about my candles so I'll just stop here.
Oh, and right now I'm searching for a peach-scented candle. If anyone finds a good one, let me know in the comments. Cheers!

Factual Information About M&M's
*The little "m's" weren't printed on the delicious confections until 1950, and were originally black.
*Peanut M&M's were originally all brown, until 1960 when they were made in yellow (and also in two other colors which I don't particularly care for)
*In 1976, red M&Ms were removed from packages because the red dye used to color them caused reactions in some people. I knew they were evil! However, they were re-released into the world in 1987 due to popular demand.

One Hundred Years of Solitude
I never finished reading One Hundred Years of Solitude [how are you supposed to underline things on this website?] because I had to return it to the goshdarn library. It was really overdue, like, I took it out before Christmas, lol. Anyway, last week I blogged about how much I love the names of the characters. However, after reading further, the names became tedious because everyone named their children the same names over and over again, and this book is about several generations of the Buendia family, so I had a hard time telling everyone apart!

*Grumble Grumble*
My mom is furious about my sleeping schedule. In order to help me assimilate to the daywalking culture, she refuses to allow me to nap while the sun is still up in hopes that I will be too tired to stay up at night. Schmugganna I am not very happy with her >:[

One Hundred Years of Solitude
I'm reading One Hundred Years of Solitude right now. It's so magical, and like, and I've been really fascinated by gypsies for a while. Reading this book is like an explosion of wonderfulness. As much as I love the passionate love affairs and the beautiful descriptions and just the amount of imagination put into this book, I must say, what really appeals to me are the splendid names Marquez uses. God, they're just so beautiful. Melquiades, Aureliano, Arcadio, Remedio Moscote, Don Apolinar, Santa Sofia de la Piedad, Pietro Crespi!
