Coral!

I like to look at pictures of coral reefs. some of the fauna looks disgusting, but in a pretty kind of way. It makes me think of an alien that fell down into the ocean and was like, split open on a sharp rock and the poor things guts fell out and grew into some crazay underwater life.

Opera, Yo

I think it'd be interesting to see opera slowly incorporated into mainstream music. I don't wanna hear full-on opera songs on the radio, but it would be cool to hear someone sample some opera music into their song. There are bands like Son Lux that already do that shiatzu, but they're not even popular enough to be on limewire.

Super Awesome

So this is a wedding cake topper with cats and chickens on it! I'm pretty sure that Future Patrycja is going to purchase this lovely item cause chickens are my favorite animals evahhh.

One of my bus drivers got a slightly different haircut than he usually gets. He looked like a changed man, like he was happier and more confident looking. I wonder if he had any liberating experiences lately.

People That I Wish I Was Friends With

1. Original Aunt Jemima: She sends of this warm, nurturing aura, like if you were sad, she would give you a magical hug and plate of sweet, hot pancakes and she would sing soothing songs until you were better.
2. Amy Winehouse: She's quite a wreck, but man, she'd be awesome to hang out with. You can have wild, insightful conversations with her or you could wreak havoc upon the town.
3. Edward Scissorhands: He is such a sweet pie and no one would mess with me if they knew he had my back.
4. Charlie Kelly: He's the funniest man ever and his antics never fail to entertain me. If he learned proper hygiene skills, he could be my soulmate. Kitten Mittens FTW

WURQ IT

RuPaul's Drag Race is one of my favorite shows of all time. The contestants are so fun and fiery and when they get all dolled up, some of them are sexy as hell (I'm talkin bout you, Raven)!


(For those of you unfamiliar with the show, it's like America's Next Top Model except it's 20 times more hilarious and lovable and it's for drag queens.)

Today on the bus there was this man and somehow he had manged to tie a plastic shopping bag full of lord knows what* to one of the buttons on his shirt. Quite innovative.

The Great Bus Mystery

I was on the bus one morning and saw that someone had etched "Compton 213 st" onto the back of a seat. #Naturally# I ended up googling the address and found out that it was a place in California. Google Maps showed me that the street has some very nice shrubbery and exquisitely shaped trees and the houses are adorable and they look like they're from the 70's.

Why did someone carve a street into one of the sun-faded plastic blue seats of a dingy New York bus? The graffiti artist was homesick? Bored? Random? Trying to spread sunshine to the winter stricken East Coast? Relaying a cryptic message to a drug lord, a detective, or a secret lover? I'm going to think of this Compton stranger every time I see something scrawled over the bleak walls, windows, and seats of a bus.

Fruitcake

Why do people always hate on fruitcake? It's full of raisins and rum and yumminess and magical surprises. I want some right now.

Glasses

I think glasses are one of the most important inventions ever. So many brilliant people wouldn't have been able to write or paint without them. And I wouldn't be able to text or facebook chat with my bff Marianne, whose vision isn't very good. It's crucial for my mental health to tell her about the amusing and/or awkward things that happen to me everyday. Plus, she looks like a sexy librarian when she wears her glasses.

Guitars

I usually don't like guitar solo's. They bother my ears. I do enjoy guitars under these conditions:

-flamenco guitars
-accompanied by satanic screaming in the background
-whatever kind of guitars the Killers have cause they make me think of cowboys and astronauts
-mcr music. it's terribly embarrassing to admit, but i can't be in denial about my poor musical tastes
-guitars that make me wanna skip and/or dance
-and also when the cold war kids play

Hmm, maybe I like guitars more than I thought? I think I learned something bout my self today

Why is the stereotypical fireman portrayed with a mustache? Having something flammable growing on your face doesn't seem like a good idea when you're constantly battling fires, even if it does make you look like a distinguished individual.

I want to be friendlier so that peculiar people will feel comfortable approaching me and we will have fantastically odd conversations.
